German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, who is currently in Greece for an official visit, is meeting with the President of the Hellenic Republic Prokopis Pavlopoulos and with his Greek counterpart Nikos Kotzias on Thursday. The strengthening of the bilateral relations, based on the Greek-German Action Plan, European, regional and international issues of mutual interest, with an emphasis on Europe’s future, as well as the latest developments in the Western Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean will be the main issues on the meeting’s agenda.

The German FM came to Athens from Tirana, as part of his tour to countries of the southeastern Europe, which started on Monday from Bucharest and ends in Athens.
