Dimosthenis Michalentzakis has set a new record for the Paralympic games in the event of 100m Butterfly S9.

The 17-year-old athlete got first place and a gold medal for Greece with his time of 59.27, dedicated his gold medal to his sister who travelled to Rio entirely at her own expense to support her brother.

Italian Federico Morlacchi came second and the bronze was won by Tamas Sors from Hungary.
