Greece will be the first-time host of the annual ?Exploiting Intellectual Property at Universities: European progress conference 2018?, on October 18 and 19 (Thursday & Friday) at the University of Athens auditorium on 30 Panepistimiou Street.

The conference is being held by the Industrial Property Organisation in conjunction with the European Patents Office.

It is addressed to heads of universities and innovation divisions within them from Greek and foreign universities. This year's conference will be attended by 120 registrants from 38 countries.

Alternate Economy Minister Stergios Pitsiorlas will deliver an address at the opening, as will the secretaries general of industry and research & technology.
