Greece confirmed 1,193 new coronavirus infections on Sunday, with 10 of these identified at entry points to the country.
The total infections since the start of the pandemic stands at 104,227, of which 4,879 appear to be related to travel abroad and 27,746 to already known cases, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said.
In hospitals, 603 patients are intubated. Their median age is 65, 76.0 pct have an underlying condition or are 70 years old or older, and 162 are women. Another 575 have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.
EODY also confirmed another 98 deaths, bringing fatalities to 2,321. Of the total, the median age of the deceased was 80 years and 96.7 pct had some underlying condition and/or were aged 70 or more. In addition, 935 were women.
