The importance of the cooperation between Greece, Cyprus and Jordan, which strengthens the strategy for the prospect of peace and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean, highlighted Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at the 2nd Greek-Cypriot-Jordan Tripartite Summit which took place on Sunday in Amman.
The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Anastasiades, stressed, among other things, that the three countries have the same positions regarding migratory / refugee flows that require solidarity and collective responsibility.
From his side, Jordan’s King, Abdullah II, welcomed Mr. Tsipras and Mr. Anastasiades and referred to the close ties connecting the three countries. Two tripartite memorandums of cooperation in the field of education and investment promotion were signed at the Summit. At the same time, a business forum was held with the participation of high-ranking officials and businesses from Greece, Cyprus and Jordan.
