“I believe that the visit to the US as a whole, reaffirmed that Greece is a stable and reliable partner of the US, in an extremely volatile region,” Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis stressed during a speech at a dinner held by the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce, at a hotel in central Athens.

Regarding the criticism that Greece should not be predictable in its contacts with the US, the prime minister argued that this is precisely what strategic alliance means: to be stable and reliable, and to be predictable in the basics of a strategic relationship, which is not the case for other countries in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Greek prime minister also stressed that in the US there is a cross-pollination of views on Greece’s strategic role.
