As of today, Greece resumes international flights to Athens and Thessaloniki, to welcome foreign tourists with the observance of the necessary health protocols, while the land borders between Greece and Bulgaria will also open.

The country’s regional airports will welcome the first foreign visitors from July 1st.

“We are open to visitors with the main concern of everyone’s safety”, said Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, announcing the resumption of tourism, against the backdrop of the sunset in Santorini, saying that the goal is not for Greece to become a number one destination, but a safe one.

Ships from abroad are still prohibited to dock at Greek ports.
