The message of Greece’s will and readiness to support Libya sends Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias from Tripoli, where he is expected to meet Fayez al-Sarraj, Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA) that is recognized by international organizations, and Foreign Minister Mohamed Taha Siala.

During his visit, and within the scope of the Rhodes Conference for Security and Stability promoted by Greece to pave the way for new forms of cooperation between Middle East and Mediterranean countries, Mr. Kotzias will discuss with his Libyan counterparts the potentials for coordinated action with the country’s authorities on the basis of a positive cooperation agenda. The bilateral cooperation both within the framework of international organizations and in the energy and trade fields, as well as the cultural and educational relations, and the protection of cultural heritage will also be put on the table.
