Two Greek films will participate in the short films competition section of the 38th Cairo International Film Festival, which opens on Tuesday, November 15 and will last until November 24.

The film “Ikaros” by George Fourtounis will be screened on Friday, November 18 and Konstantina Kotzamani’s “Limbo” on November 23.

Overall, during the Festival, one of the most important in the Middle East, the audience will have the opportunity to watch 204 films from around the world. Guest of honour of this year’s festival is China with the screenings of twenty Chinese films and several side events dedicated to the Chinese film industry.

Finally, during the festival a tribute to movies inspired by works of William Shakespeare will be presented on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the bard’s death.
