Following a meeting with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, on Tuesday in Washington, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the closure of the IMF office in Athens.

After pointing out that Greece has now entered a time of development and effective structural reforms, Mr. Mitsotakis thanked the Fund’s support on a number of important issues, such as the need to reduce primary surpluses in 2021.
