The Greek government and the Institutions consider the next sixty days to be decisive for the orderly conclusion of Greece’s program. In the meetings of Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos with representatives of the creditors, within the scope of the IMF Spring Summit in Washington, it was ascertained that all sides are against a program prolongation, and wish to conclude the fourth review by the Eurogroup of June, to agree on the type of the supervision after the memorandum and the development plan, and to determine the debt relief measures.

“The timely conclusion of the talks over the debt and the implementation of the reforms are crucial in strengthening Greece’s economic prospects and the IMF’s disposition for funding,” Christine Lagarde stated.
