Following orders from the Ministry of Defense, Armed Forces factories have now switched to producing materials and supplies in order to contribute to the national efforts to fight against the coronavirus pandemic, covering both military and social needs.

In this context, the military plants are producing antiseptic solution from confiscated amounts of ethyl alcohol, as well as simple surgical masks in order to meet the requirements of both the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Health.

It is estimated that by the end of this week, 50,000 masks will be produced, and another 100,000 are expected to be manufactured next week. A production line is also planned to meet the needs for liquid antiseptic soaps.
