The meeting between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that took place on Wednesday in London, was concluded with several disagreements but also an agreement to continue discussions on confidence-building measures.

The two men discussed the recent Turkey-Libya Memorandum on the delimitation of maritime zones in the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as all national issues and specifically the refugee one.

After the meeting, the Greek prime minister said disagreements between the two sides were registered, but expressed confidence that they could be overcome.

Mr. Mitsotakis also announced that the Foreign Policy Council would convene in the coming days to inform all parties.
