“The issue of Grexit will not be put again on the table”, said European Commissioner Pierre Moscovici in an interview with Europe 1 radio station on Friday, when asked about whether there is a chance that the Grexit issue may be again discussed following Brexit and given the tension among Greece’s creditors in view of the Eurogroup of June 15th.

In an interview with the German financial magazine “WiWO”, Mr. Moscovici also stressed, “No one would understand why we created a problem out of nothing. After all these great efforts Greece has made, we cannot propose the exact same thing as in the last meeting and say ‘Either you accept or you die’. It just can’t happen”.
