The Hellenic Manpower Employment Organization Director, Spiros Protopsaltis presented to the Parliament’s Special Subcommittee a new model of the Organization’s functioning, based on extroversion and the strengthening of employment programs, with the aim of providing practical support to people with disabilities.

The new strategic planning includes outreach policies, the upgrading of its website and improvement of its accessibility, incentives for employers, the updating of those who are registered as unemployed and greater absorption of funds from NSRF programs, with the aim of sending the message that the State actively supports these social groups.

As Mr. Protopsaltis stressed, the new OAED updated program places particular emphasis on upgrading employment, insurance and vocational training policies and programs for people with disabilities.
