“No” to the constitutional changes in Turkey prevailed in the occupied part of Cyprus.

According to Turkish Cypriot media, after the counting of votes in Turkey, results on the island were 43.39% in favour of “Yes” and 56.61% in favour of “No”.

The vote was held in the occupied territory from April 5 to April 9 and voters included both Turks and Turkish Cypriots who hold the Turkish citizenship.
