Drawing its inspiration from “Cities”, the 2017 European Cultural Heritage Days’ theme, the Epigraphic and Numismatic Museum is for one more year actively involved in the celebration of this beloved institution, organizing a variety of educational, social, and artistic activites.

From September 21-24, visitors of the museum will have the opportunity to tour its exhibits in themed tours, attend musical performances, lectures, concerts, and poetry readings, such as the one taking place tonight, September 20, featuring 20 of the newest generation of poets, all writing about the city.

Participating poets include Anna Afentoulidou, Eleni Galani, Christos Armandos Gkezos, Kristalli Gliniadaki, Thanos Gogos, Nikos Erinakis, Vassilis Zilakos, Stathis Intzes, Vagia Kalfa, Dimitra Kationi, Charis Kontou, Maria Koulouri, Eleftheria Kiritsi, Dimitris Leontzakos, Alexis Mainas, Irini Margariti, Eleni Ntouxi, Eftichia Panagiotou, Fanis Papageorgiou, Danae Siozou. The musical duet of Giorgos Vlagkoulis and Katerina Malliri will be accompanying the event.
