Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis together with a government delegation, is visiting Israel today.

The Greek delegation will focus on investments and the expansion of the Greek-Israeli strategic relationship, while the Prime Minister is expected to raise the issue of the growing Turkish provocations in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean.

According to government sources, the Greece-Israel summit is expected to boost bilateral co-operation in a wide range of sectors (defense, tourism, cybersecurity, agriculture, energy, start-ups).

Flights from Israel to Greece are expected to open on July 1, as, according to the same sources, there is strong interest from the Israeli side.

In fact, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently estimated that Israeli tourists to Greece could reach 1 million.
