Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras turned New Democracy’s censure move against Alternate Health Minister Pavlos Polakis, into a debate regarding a vote of confidence in the government.

“I came to stand up against Mr Mitsotakis’ destruction plan,” stressed the Prime Minister, emphasizing that the ND program is the same as the IMF’s and Manfred Weber’s.

“The climate does not change with last-minute benefits,” said Kyriakos Mitsotakis and added that Tsipras and Polakis share the same views.

The debate continues today in the Parliament’s plenary session with speeches by ministers, parliamentary representatives and deputies and will be finalized on Friday midnight by roll call vote.
