Thanassis Akokalidis’ “Pessoa”, presented until April 29th at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, is a play about adulthood and the coming-of-age. Through a rich mosaic of images, the original texts of the great Portuguese writer and poet, come to life.
The performance is an original concept inspired by Pessoa’s saying: “Oh, if only I were not all the people and all the lands”, and is guided by unconstrained humour and the melodic song of another era.
“Pessoa” is presented within the framework of the theatrical and audiovisual platform Black Box.
