The Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will be meeting with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the 73rd UN General Assembly that is taking place in New York.

The meeting is scheduled for 18:30 Greek time. As reported by government sources, PM Alexis Tsipras will talk with the Turkish President, mainly on bilateral relations, the situation in the Aegean, the Cyprus problem, the EU-Turkey agreement and Euro-Turkish relations, as well as developments in the wider region.

The Prime Minister will then take part in the lunch presented by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to the heads of the delegations and will be speaking at the Concordia this afternoon.
