Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria (Coadjutor) and Deputy Minister Terence Quick, responsible for Greeks Abroad who met on Sunday in Nicosia, stated that the invitation by the Egyptian Minister of Immigration, Nabil Makram for a meeting of the Greeks of Egypt (Egyptiotes) in Alexandria, is of the utmost importance.

Both sides exchanged views on how this Egyptian plan, which attempts to bring out the Greek splendor of Alexandria and the contribution of the Greek-Egyptians to the country of the Nile, can be realized.

Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria made a request to the Deputy Minister Terence Quick and to Greece, to support the effort of Egypt, which is most likely to take place in November.
