Katerina Stefanidi won the gold medal for Greece in the women’s Olympic pole vault final in Rio on Friday.

Stefanidi cleared 4.85 m taking the sixth medal for Greece at the Rio Olympics.

She has a personal record of 4.86 meters in the outdoor track and field, which she achieved in June of 2016 in Athens, as well as 4.90 meters in the indoor track and field.

She became the European Champion in pole vault in 2016, in Amsterdam, Netherlands after clearing 4.81 meters.

Hers is the third gold medal for Greece in Rio 2016 Olympics.
