The Ministry of Culture and Sport announced the museums and archaeological sites that will operate an extended schedule up to October.

Specifically, the Acropolis and Thera’s Akrotiri archaeological sites; the Zakros and Pella palaces; and the Chania archaeological museum are already open from 8 am until 8 pm. The Sounio archaeological site is open until sundown, and the Knossos archaeological site is open to 7 pm. Also, the National Archaeological Museum, the Thessaloniki Archaeological Museum, the Aigai archaeological site and museum (Vergina), Spinalonga and others will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

All archaeological sites, monuments and museums will be closed on Easter and May 1. They will be open from midday to 5 p.m. on Good Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Holy Saturday.
