Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras will be attending the Summit of Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia and Romania, held in Varna, Bulgaria, on Friday, where he will talk about the benefits from the successful implementation of the Prespa Agreement not only for Greece and FYROM, but also for the broader region, with Greece becoming a pillar of stability. Mr. Tsipras is also expected to stress that by means of the agreement, Northern Greece is enhanced in many ways and becomes one of the major regional hubs in terms of energy, trade, shipping, transport and transit.

Friday’s Summit is the fifth summit in the row, which proves its significant contribution to regional cooperation at political and economic level, on the one hand, as well as its contribution to the issue of the European prospects of the Western Balkan countries, on the other hand.

After the works of the Summit, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will attend the working lunch for the first time, where the cooperation of Israel with countries of southeastern Europe in new technologies, start-up businesses and energy will be discussed.
