Greek taxpayers’ arrears to the state rose to 103.092 billion euros in September, from 102.644 billion in August, the Independent Authority for Public Revenues said in a report released on Thursday.

New arrears grew by 1.4 billion euros in September, of which 513 million were unpaid taxes, totaling 7.838 billion euros from 6.418 billion in August, while older arrears (up to December 31, 2017) totaled 96.205 billion euros from 96.394 billion in August. The number of taxpayers with overdue debt to the state rose by 510,428 in September, totaling 4,312,395.
