The bill for the establishment of the Greek Development Bank was voted in favor at the Parliament by a large majority, since all the parties supported the initiative that is being developed, except for KKE and Golden Dawn.

Deputy Prime Minister Yannis Dragasakis stressed that this government has not just taken the country out of the memoranda but has created and continues to create significant opportunities for the next four years and the next decade.

In this context, Mr. Dragasakis noted that the establishment of the Greek Development Bank, marks the fact that the country has a development strategy, which is updated and specialized, while a series of financing tools, complementary to the banks, allow for the rapid coverage of potential financial gaps in the present, but also the future.
