In Thursday’s Parliamentary plenary session, Greek party leaders will present their views on the multi-bill, which aims at ratifying the agreement with creditors. The talks are expected to conclude late at night and the multi-bill will be then put to vote.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras stated that the review conclusion will result in an investment “tsunami” and Greece might return to markets on a trial basis within the summer period. Talking to journalists at the Parliament on Wednesday night, Mr. Tsipras stressed that if no settlement is reached on May 22nd, there will be surely a decision on the debt until the Eurogroup meeting on June 15th, the latest, which will lead to quantitative easing and Greece’s return to markets.

Workers’ unions will be protesting against the multi-bill on Thursday as well. At 19:00 the General Confederation of Greek Workers (GSEE) and the Confederation of Greek Civil Servants’ Trade Unions (ADEDY) will be demonstrating at Syntagma Square, while Trade Union Front (PAME) will be demonstrating at Omonoia Square.
