The National Public Health Organization (EODY) announced on Monday 77 new coronavirus cases, 8 of which, were identified after checks at the country’s entry gates and 28 in the region of Attica.

The total number of cases is 4,737, of which 1,303 (27.5%) are related to travel from abroad and 2,345 (49.5%) are related to an already known case.

Thirteen people, whose median age is 69 years, remain intubated. 69.2% of them have an underlying health issue or are aged 70 and over, while 128 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Furthermore, two more deaths were registered which brings the total number of victims to 210. The victims’ median age was 76 years and 95.7% of them had an underlying health issue and / or age 70 years and over.
