Europe has shown that it can stand up to the circumstances and reach an agreement after four days of tough negotiations and a process of mutual concessions and compromises,” said Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at a news conference after the EU summit.

The Prime Minister stated that Greece will receive a total package of over 70 billion euros, which we will manage responsibly and prudently for productive reconstruction.

“The subsidies that our country will receive from the additional program approved, correspond to an additional NSRF and this money will be disbursed on more flexible terms than the existing NSRF and more directly,” said the Prime Minister.

“Regarding the multiannual fiscal framework, although it is reduced, Greece has achieved the increase of resources from the Cohesion Fund and stable resources from the Common Agricultural Policy for farmers,” said Mr. Mitsotakis.
