In a televised interview on Monday, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis categorically ruled out early elections and cabinet reshuffle, calling the discussion completely irresponsible.

Regarding the pandemic, after thanking the Greek people for listening to the experts’ advice, the Prime Minister stressed that we have managed to minimize the incidents, but the danger has not gone away permanently.

The second wave of the pandemic, if it comes, will be different, Mr. Mitsotakis explained, because the citizens are more educated, the health system is more prepared, because we will have better pharmaceutical protocols and because the state will be able to intervene in a “smarter” more targeted way.
