The repatriation of the two Greek nationals who were on board the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which has been quarantined since February 3 due to the presence of Coronavirus cases, is in progress.

The Greek nationals, along with Italian, Slovenian and Croat passengers, will depart from Japan on an Italian aircraft that will take them initially to Berlin and then to southern Italy.

Upon their arrival they will undergo the necessary medical tests, and then a Greek military aircraft will transfer them to Athens, where they are expected on Saturday morning.
