The Athens Appeals Court is expected to announce sentences for the leadership and members of the criminal organization Golden Dawn, today at 12 midday.
Following the suggestions prosecutor Adamantia Economou made yesterday, the court deliberated to consider the case of each one of the 57 members who have been found guilty, in order to announce the sentences that will be imposed on them for the crimes they have committed.
The prosecutor proposed to impose heavy sentences on the seven Golden Dawn leaders, namely Nikos Michaloliakos, Christos Pappas, Artemis Mattheopoulos, Ilias Panagiotaros, Ilias Kasidiaris, Yiannis Lagos and George Germenis., the prosecutor proposed 13 years in prison. For the murderer of Pavlos Fyssas, Giorgos Roupakias, the prosecutor proposed life imprisonment and eight years to the direct accomplices.
