The roll-call vote for the ratification of the Prespes deal, will take place today at 14.30, due to the large number of speakers.

“We are one step ahead of a historic event, after almost 30 years of inertia and repeated national retreats and after a whole year of exhaustive negotiations”, stressed the Prime Minister in yesterday’s parliamentary debate and blamed the opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis for hypocrisy, divisive speech and a lack of arguments.

“The Prespes Agreement is a national defeat that has already been annulled in the conscience of the people and a national mistake that offends both the truth and the history of the country,” the ND president said on his part, saying that if he became Prime minister he would veto in the process of joining Skopje in the EU.
