In about a week, following the ratification of FYROM’s accession protocol to NATO by the Greek Parliament, there will be a change of signage in the neighboring country’s border crossings, diplomatic delegations and public service entrances, which will display the country’s new name, “Republic of North Macedonia”.

This provision is included in the plan to meet FYROM’s obligations under the Prespes Agreement, which the FYROM Cabinet adopted yesterday. Similar actions are expected to be taken by local authorities.

The Cabinet has also decided to create an Interministerial Committee, which should elaborate an integrated National Action Plan for the implementation of all the necessary actions.
